When it comes to leather for this season and next season top of leather fashion is crocodile details. Next winter tames this wildly luxurious trend and succumbs to its seductive style. Wear crocodile leather in its natural form, as seen at Hermès and Prada, or in creamy pastels like the croco seen at Louis Vuitton.
Leather and Reptile Skins: For yet another season leather and reptile skins come to be a leading trend. This season, however, a head-to-toe crocodile look is the winner. Some designers, like Hermès and Prada, used the natural color of crocodile skin, while others brought the trend of pastel colored crocodile skin clothing. Crocodile skin was used a lot in the 13/14 fall-winter collections of Louis Vuitton, Burberry Prorsum, Diane von Furstenberg, Jean Paul Gaultier and many others.
Patent leather is also a big hit this cold season. It was spotted at Versace, Burberry Prorsum, Topshop Unique and Jonathan Saunders. Besides the ordinary form of latex, transparent latex also comes to be a provocative trend for fall 2013. It was especially used for creating dresses, trench coats and raincoats. Lacoste, Burberry Prorsum and Felder and Felder are some of the designers, who brought the trend of transparent latex.
